In a recent article published by the Genetic Literacy Project, the sustainability of organic and non-GMO farming compared to GMO farming is discussed at great length and borrows from an extensive list of research articles from both universities and individuals involved with the research of GMO, non-GMO and organic farming.
Genetic Literacy Project holds that GMO farming is, in fact, more sustainable, profitable and better for the environment than non-GMO and organic farming; as well as also being SAFER for the consumer.
GLP also concludes that the movement towards organic and non-GMO farming is actually based on faulty concepts and misinformation, rather than solid scientific fact.
